NO TOY WEAPONS of any type will be allowed at school. - Box-Tops: Please send Box-Tops to school with your child to help our PTO earn additional funds. Each Box-Top is worth ten cents. Our current PTO Box-Top classroom collection ends on Monday, November 5th.
- Word Wall High Frequency Words Practice: Please have your child continue to practice and learn the high frequency Word Wall Words that have already been sent home and more words that will continue to come home each week. High frequency words are words that the students will be expected to know how to read. Some of these words may seem easy, but are common words that students need to be able the read in text with automaticity and be able to spell in their writing. Thank you for your continued help and support at home.
- Reading Practice Books: Enjoy listening to your child read out loud from his/her reading practice book at his/her independent reading level each day to practice reinforcing his/her reading strategies and skills. Thank you!
*Please ask your child questions about the book and discuss what your child is reading to help strengthen his/her reading comprehension skills.
