- Heller Nature Center Field Trip: Thanks to our supportive PTO, we visited Heller Nature Center on Thursday morning. Extending our learning about habitats and exploring with the naturalist was amazing!
*Reminders and Upcoming Events
- Used School Supply Collection: Summer school is in need of school supplies again this year. Please make sure your child knows if you would like him/her to bring his/her school supplies home next week or if he/she should donate them for summer school.
- Indian Trail Library Book Fair: Mrs. Grost, our wonderful school librarian, will be hosting the last day of the Book Fair in our school library, next Monday, June 5th from 8:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.
- Step-Up Day: Next Wednesday, June 7th, first grade students will be spending a brief time in the morning with the second grade team of teachers and learning some information about their next school year as second grade students. Students will not know their individual classroom placements until the official class placements are posted in August.
- Early Dismissal: Students will be dismissed at 1:40 p.m. next Thursday, June 8th.
*Students will still be eating their healthy morning fruit or vegetable snacks and lunches at school.
- Field Day: We will be participating in some fun outdoor Field Day activities in the morning next Friday, June 9th. Students will need to wear gym shoes with socks, comfortable clothes, and sunscreen. Please remember to bring a water bottle labeled with full name and 1V.
- Last Day/Early Dismissal: Students will be dismissed at 1:40 p.m. next Friday, June 9th, our last day of first grade together.
